An entire weekend of festivities is dedicated to the famous Vallepietra potatoes with a festival during the month of September. A unique opportunity not only to taste this excellence product, but also to discover the area by walking along the mountain paths up to the Cesa degli Angeli waterfall.
The potatoes have a yellow texture and are enjoyed throughout the menu. You can taste the potatoes prepared in different ways starting from the famous gnocchi up to accompanying a second course of sausages with stewed or seasoned potetoes with local herbs such as mint.
The tasting ends with a potato and chocolate cake and the famous dry biscuits of Vallepietra.
