Artena is the largest pedestrian-only historical center in Europe and on the occasion of the Christmas festivities, it lights up with a large tree of lights that lies on the mountain near the village and a series of events in the historic center.
From December 8 to January 6, cribs are put on display in the village premises and in the cellars you can taste local dishes and typical products. Show cooking and live preparation of the dishes will involve the visitor.
A series of concerts and Christmas events surprise the visitor while a historical train enters the magic of Christmas in the village.
On the day of the inauguration there is a historical procession of figures from the Palio of Montefortino, the ancient name with which it was called Artena.
