Barbarano Romano celebrates its patron saint, Santa Barbara, on December 4th with great celebrations that bring together the sacred and the profane in an all-Italian show of devotion.
The patron saint of the Fire Brigade is celebrated from morning until evening, in a weekend of shows and events.
From mass to the procession of the statue through the streets of the delightful medieval village, the feast of Santa Barbara is an excellent opportunity to experience the cordiality and tradition of this Tuscia village and a territory that has everything to offer.
At the end of the religious celebrations, the traditional markets of handicrafts and local products begin, which bring the first flakes of Christmas atmosphere.
Throughout the event the restaurants of the village will be open, where it is possible to taste the typical dishes of the area in the company of a good glass of wine and a handful of roasted chestnuts.
