Capranica. Feast of San Terenziano

Capranica. Feast of San Terenziano

Feast of the patron Saint San Terenziano in Capranica with solemn religious ceremonies very felt by the population. On the evening before the party, take the route to the church of San Terenziano at sunset with the light of the torches. The procession is accompanied by the band and by ritual songs.

During the Sunday procession, the bust of the saint with the skull relic donated to Capranica in 1631, and kept in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo, is carried in procession through the streets of the town.

The bust and two arms in silver (one with a relic of San Terenziano and the other with a relic of San Biagio) are placed on a processional machine brought by confreres and the procession arrives at the small church.
