Cori. Matticelle or Feast of St Giulianitto

On the 16th of February San Giulianitto is celebrated in Cori, the ancient day dedicated to San Giuliano today moved to April with the 'Matticelle'.

Matticelle are the remains of the pruning of the vines that are burned together with bay leaves to flood the streets of the town with an intense aroma and the party always ends with a common lunch.
