Cori. The Kiss of the Child

On the morning of January 6th in Giulianello di Cori there is a procession with the statue of the Child Jesus.

According to tradition, the statue is said to have been made by carving a wood from Gethsemane.

The statue has been the subject of pilgrimages since 1768 during the day of 6 afternoon the statue is exposed and the faithful can kiss it.
