Civita Castellana. Feast of Saints Marciano and John

On September 16th in Civita Castellana the patrons Santi Marciano and Giovanni are celebrated with solemn religious celebrations.

A procession, accompanied by the city's band, parades along the streets of the village bringing, in a silver urn, the relics of the saints.

The procession makes a series of stops along its path to allow the faithful to kiss the urn.
