October 15 is the feast of St. Teresa of Avila that is celebrated in Formia solemnly in the church dedicated to her.

Santa Teresa was born in Spain in 1515 and is the founder of the Discalced Carmelite nuns and friars.

She was one of the most important figures of the Catholic Church thanks to her work as a writer and thinker.
