Fumone. Corpus Domini's Infiorata

On the Sunday following the day of the Holy Trinity, the alleys of the hamlet of Fumone are covered with a colored carpet made by the inhabitants.

The carpet is made up of flowers, leaves, colored sawdust, lime and coffee grounds, the materials make up colored paintings on which the religious procession will pass.

The charm of the event is perhaps also in its ephemerality because the Corpus Domini procession passes over the carpet and ruins it.
