Cave. Historic-Religious Representation of Good Friday

Cave. Historic-Religious Representation of Good Friday

The first Sacred Representation of Good Friday at Cave was held in 1879, and the event is certainly unique and very much appreciated.

It involves over 500 people in costumes, people of all ages, generations, social classes, and political ideas.

The display includes the procession of Good Friday and a representation of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ that takes place along the streets of the town.

As well as the display there is an important art exhibition and a prize for works with a religious subject.
