Monte San Giovanni Campano. Feast of Our Lady of Suffrage

On the first Sunday after Easter this feast of Our Lady of Suffrage is celebrated in Monte San Giovanni Campano.

During the feast the statue, donated by Pope Urban VIII, 'comes down' from its niche among the faithful, and is brought up the hill San Marco.

The festival features a magnificent procession and a goods and livestock fair. It ends after seven days of "Mariano" celebration on the eighth day, with the ascent of the statue into its niche and a spectacular fireworks display.
