Roccagorga. On the Night of Good Friday

On Good Friday two huge pyres are built in two squares of the historic town centre of Roccagorga.

When the procession starts, the two rival districts (San Pietro and Crocella) light the pyres in mourning but also to wait for the resurrection.

The rivalry of the districts is purely ideal and at the end of the procession they spend the night feasting in the square.
