Santa Oliva, patron saint of Trivigliano, is celebrated on June 11 of each year.
The celebrations begin 9 days before with the novena recital.
On the evening of June 10th, along the alleys of the Old Town is an evocative night procession during which is carried the Arm of Santa Oliva, an ancient and precious relic, housed in an arm-shaped reliquiary with an olive branch (attribute of the saint) that dates back to 1800.
During the procession, you can admire from above the compositions in honour of the saints made with torches in the wide lawns of the Triviglianese countryside.
The real festival is held the next day, with a procession with the statue entirely decorated in golden leaf, and the exchange of images between the 'festaroli' and the famous 'ciambellata' in the square.
