Vallecorsa. Feast of St. Michael the Archangel

The cult of Saint Michael and the story of his committee in Vallecorsa are lost in the "dawn of time".

St. Michael is called "Vallecorsa Doctor" and Vallecorsa is called "Land of Saint Michael."

Faith toward this Saint coincides with the advent of the Lombards in Italy and in Vallecorsa there was an image of the saint on each gate of the town.

The artistic and miracle-working Saint Michael statue is carried in procession and is known of and visited by tourists and pilgrims.
