    At dusk of April 25, on the feast of St Mark, great bonfires called "fauni" are lit in the Piazzale di San Giorgio in Vico nel Lazio.

    This bonfire is prepared with all the scraps of the ploughing and pruning of plants and is said to serve to drive away the cold and welcome spring.
