San Felice Circeo. Submerged statue of the Circeo Christ

The Christ statue is a symbol of San Felice Circeo marine area and was placed on the seabed in 1992.

It is visited every year by thousands of enthusiastic scuba divers and here some original underwater weddings have been celebrated.

Nearby in the Cave of goats, however, you can find a face of Christ, a work made of bronze by Ignatius Colagrossi and placed on the seabed in 2010.
