Filettino. The Regional Natural Park of Appennines of Monti Simbruini

Filettino in part of the regional park of Simbruini Mountains is the largest protected natural area of the Lazio region, with peaks that reach and exceed 2,100 meters.

There is a path with hundreds of enchanted ways including the "Trail Italy", the largest national trekking route that crosses the park in full. There are trails for both cycling enthusiasts and for those who use the mountain bike, with endless combinations of woods, meadows and extraordinary places.

The park is also a destination for horse riding for events of several days. The Aniene descent between Trevi and Subiaco is one of the most well loved and pleasant routes in central Italy.
