Cave. Via Francigena

The stretch of Via Francigena passing through Cave is very impressive because it crosses one of the entrance gate to the medieval village of Cave. A gate that had been abandoned for years.

The ruins of the bridge on the culvert, the medieval narrow street, the entrance arch and the side constructions give birth to a fascinating landscape loved by painters.
