Riofreddo. Cioncone Bean

The Riofreddo Cioncone Bean is traditionally grown in hilly places and valley near springs with a microclimate of high humidity that, even at night and in winter cold, is persistent.

At Riofreddo the bean was introduced after World War II.

The Cioncone Bean has an ovoid shape, a hazelnut-beige colour and the seeds are sown in early May.
