Those who have tasted the panettone of the Chalet di Rocca Priora cannot go back.
The panettone produced by Lo Chalet is a naturally leavened artisanal production that Massimo and Cristiano have been producing for about six years.
Each dough batch is left to rise for 48 hours with two systems, a first dough in the evening left to rest all night and a second dough in the morning that reaches the typical shape of panettone and finally cooking.
The Lo Chalet panettone can be chosen among different flavors, from the traditional one with raisins and artisanal candied fruit from Italian companies to the innovative ones.
There are about 10 types with chocolate, Vesuvius apricots, wholemeal, apples and walnuts, lemon and ginger.
The novelty of this year is the cocoa and coconut panettone which combines two flavors much loved by children.
Massimo and Cristiano recommend pairing it with a sweet cannellino di Frascati DOC to remain among the taste experiences of the Castelli Romani.
