An original name for this Cesanese del Piglio DOCG wine produced by Maria Elena Sinibaldi. “If life puts you in front of crossroads (BIVI in italian), you crossroads (BIVI in Ciociaria's dialect means "to drink")! Always do ".
"BIVI" is the name of the spearhead of the wines of the Boscocastello di Paliano winery.
A Cesanese red with an intense and elegant flavor with aromas of blackberries, red fruits with traces of aromatic herbs and notes of carob.
You can enjoy a glass of BIVI for an appetizer based on cured meats or for a dinner with red meat like steak or braised meats.
Maria Elena takes care of and cultivates her vineyards directly and knows every plant of her vineyard. She has taken her passion back from the family and still follows the vineyard farming manners that were passed on to her by her grandparents.
The vineyards, the cellar and the tasting spot are located in the suggestive countryside of the hills of Santa Maria di Pugliano in Paliano.
The company produces Cesanese del Piglio DOCG red wine and Passerina del Frusinate IGT white wine.
It is possible to purchase wines from the Boscocastello winery in Paliano by contacting Maria Elena directly or by booking a visit to the cellar.
