Who doesn't love chocolate? Cocoa has been part of human history for hundreds of years, and the sweet chocolate produced by the processing of this fruit is still today the undisputed protagonist in all its forms of world and Italian pastry, and in Lazio there is an event that celebrates our bond with chocolate, and the pastry art that uses it!
"CioccoTuscia" returns to animate the historic center of Viterbo for two consecutive weekends, from 8-9 and 15-16 October 2022 at the historic Palazzo dei Papi and Piazza San Lorenzo.
An event that for years has been committed to promoting and enhancing the typical local products of Tuscia, which see chocolate and more as the protagonist, supported and promoted by the main institutional realities of the area starting with the Municipality of Viterbo, Diocese, Chamber of Commerce, Confartigianato , CNA, Coldiretti, Sodalizio Facchini S.Rosa, Centro Storico Committee and Caritas.
A CioccoTuscia event that was born as a Food Culture Festival, a format that differs from the other chocolate-themed events taking place in Italy. CioccoTuscia is linked to the territory, and promotes it in the name but also in the varied and rich program of initiatives that enhance local products, producers and professionals.
Each year the Festival also hosts different categories of entertainment, with dance, art, painting, writing, conferences, historical parades, street artists, educational workshops, entertainment, puppet theater, street food, all to make the event always original. and trying to give greater prominence to the realities of the territory.
The CioccoTuscia Village is an experience for adults and children, where there will be space for everyone, not just chocolate lovers, who will have a great choice of sweet and savory stands, there will be entertainment, educational workshops, painting exhibitions, artists of street, wooden games, live shows, tastings, sensory paths, awards, contests and some surprises that you can discover only by spending an afternoon in Viterbo, with its CioccoTuscia!
