Fabrica di Roma. Banda Musicale Raffaele Poleggi

The music band was founded in 1873 by the town of Fabrica di Roma and in 1874 and was furnished with statutes which are now in the archives.

Maestro Raffaele Poleggi directed the band from September 1922 to 1956 and gave it an image that still characterizes it.

The band has performed in front of H.M. Vittorio Emanuele III in 1906 in Ronciglione and S.S. John Paul II in 1994 in Rome.

Today the band consists of about 35 players and performs other genres from classical music to light.
