Jul 6: Fossanova

The Latina stage for the tour of the Lazio Region Tourism Plan brought us to Fossanova. An interesting day among the beauty of this medieval complex and the many features of the territory. The famous Giardini di Ninfa of the Caetani Foundation have ended up in the main American magazines as the most beautiful in the world.
But the real situation is of tourism made of second grade dwellings with still only a little attention to the experiences that the traveler can experience. This is apart from the situation of the food that is really excellent, a cuisine that combines the flavorus of land with those of the sea and that never fails to surprise.
There were excellent numbers from the islands of the Pontino archipelago. Ponza and Ventotene are in the dreams of tourists, but only in the summer months.
