A new silk road arrives in Brussels

Europe rewards the project "The Rebirth of the Silk Road" - the New Silk Road in Europe. The European Commission has selected its best four network projects from among the numerous applications from all over Europe. This is an important result that enhances international growth for D'Orica and the network that have commenced the production of silk and gold jewellery using Italian silk.
On April 27th and 28, 2015 the project "The Rebirth of the Silk Road" telling the story of the creation of the new silk road in Europe, was presented in Brussels, at the headquarters of the European Commission, in the "Grow your Region" event dedicated to clusters and smart specialization (regional strategies for research and development). This project has been the candidate selected by the Veneto Region from Italy and it will be analysed as part of determining the best European practices for Research & Innovation policies. The outcome will be disseminated among the companies of the 28 Member States.
Representing the Region of Veneto and the Network were Claudia Bettiol, President of Energitismo and Claudio Gheller, CEO of Veneto Marketing and Cluster Manager of the Network of companies.
The event involved a large international audience that will examining the successes of the process chain which highlights the undeniable value of small and medium-sized businesses, the sector that Energitismo - Handmade Treasures promotes internationally, telling the real-life stories of entrepreneurs, craftsmen and artists in projects such as the new silk road.
