Pico. Castle

The castle of Pico was built in 1049 by Giovanni of the Counts d'Aquino and is at the top of the village.

From the remains of the castle you can enjoy a vast panorama from which you can control the ancient Roman trade route, from which you can understand the importance of the castle.

Today there are only a few small towers remaining on which stands a tower with a Renaissance constructed clock. Part of the castle has become a public park.
