The church of Sant'Anatolia in Cave is also called Santa Maria di Rapello and is quoted in 1669 records of a pastoral visit to Cave by Cardinal Antonio Barberini on July 10, the day when the festival of Sant'Anatolia is celebrated.
The little church was owned by the brotherhood of SS. Crocifisso, and here was a miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin which became a pilgrimage destination.
It has a rectangular shape with a cross vault roof cover and is illuminated by two rectangular windows.
On the roof there is a sail shaped bell tower and in the attic an ossuary.
Inside the church there are frescoes dating from the 15th to the 17th century.
