Fara in Sabina. The Ulivone old olive tree

At Fara in Sabina is the oldest and largest olive tree in Europe, affectionately called "ulivone".

Its age is estimated as over 1000 years. It is located in the middle of a large olive grove and is recognizable from a distance.

There are many ancient stories and numerous feasts are celebrated under its branches.
