Colle di Tora. Carnival of the ‘cops’

During Carnival young people of Colle di Tora play the "Carnival of the cops."

This particular custom is that some boys, disguised as policemen, are to go into the fields to "arrest" the peasants.

For the latter there is really a sentence to serve: the payment of a real penalty in cookies, wine and other delicacies which are then eaten in the evening by all the "cops".
