Trevignano Romano. Palio Batar Panoce

'Batar Panoce' means 'to beat the cobs' and refers to the traditional work of the farmers who had to prepare the corn and then grind it and make polenta.

The race consists in shelling as many cobs as possible in a predetermined time. The race takes place in costume and using traditional tools.
