The occasion of the feast of Saint Hermes, patron saint of Blera, is to combine religious celebrations, a guide to the discovery of the territory and moments of growth and training in agriculture in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Blera.
The truffle festival and typical organic products are days dedicated to the discovery of the territory and its products in a festive atmosphere with historical re-enactments in the streets of the village and live music.
Street artists and lighting with 1,000 candles complete the magic of the medieval village, while art exhibitions and concerts are held at Palazzo Lattanzi.
Among the products to taste, in addition to truffles, meat, extra virgin olive oil, cheeses, honey and wine.
The Agricultural University then takes care of a series of conferences on particular aspects of agriculture and organic cultivation.
In support of the event you can take guided tours with experts in the sector, to the Etruscan necropolis, the historic center of Blera and Palazzo Lattanzi, and horseback riding in the Maremma.
