Canepina. Festival of Chestnut

[metaslider id="109815"]
In Canepina, together with oil, the chestnut is the local product to which is dedicated the Festival of Chestnut that takes place during the last three weekends of October.

The medieval village comes alive with the opening of the wine cellars, exhibitions, shows, and food and wine tastings.

Among the chestnut-based products we note the chestnut cream "Castagnina".

Chestnuts are roasted or boiled in a pan with the essence of wild fennel. Roasted chestnuts in foil are distributed free of charge to participants.
