Cassino. Festival of Polenta and Puffed Corn

Cassino. Festival of Polenta and Puffed Corn

The Festival of Polenta and Puffed Corn takes place in Cassino in Antridonati, near S. Angelo in Theodice and summarizes all the characteristics of local translations and history.

In fact, the event also unites the festival of the emigrants and is a weekend dedicated to strengthening the bonds of the community where everyone works for the success of the event.

Popular games are planned for all ages, such as the sack race, the needle in the haystack, the maypole and dance competitions.

The flour is cooked in 16 pots that correspond to about 40 quintals of polenta.

On Sunday the parade of wagons takes place while live music brightens the evening.
