Since 1979 in Longone Sabino on August 16 of each year it is celebrated with the lamb chop festival.
Over the years, this event has become a successful culinary event which has always attracted thousands of people from all over Lazio (and beyond).
The genuineness and goodness of the meat guaranteed not only by the fact that it comes from the flocks of sheep that graze in the Sabina area.
The meat is skilfully seasoned with typical and completely natural flavors and aromas: olive oil, rosemary and a little vinegar.
