Guidonia Montecelio. Festival of Pinciarelle

In September, in Guidonia Montecelio there is the Festival of Pinciarelle that sees every year thousands of visitors come to Guidonia to taste this dish.

The Pinciarelle festival is an opportunity to visit Guidonia and discover one of the traditional dishes. The pinciarelle are a handmade pasta with durum wheat flour, salt and water and have the shape of large spaghetti.

They are seasoned with a tomato sauce flavored with basil and then accompanied by local sheep skewers, homemade bread and local wine.

Next to the festival there is the antiques and local handicraft market exhibition.
