Jenne celebrates Saint Anthony Abbuot "Favaro" in a tradition maintained over time by the entire population of the small mountain village.
Saint Anthony Abbuot is celebrated with the traditional procession through the streets of the village and the blessing of the animals.
The weekend following the 17th of January is organized the festival of polenta and fallone, which celebrates the corn, one of the most appreciated local products produced in the area for generations.
The polenta is prepared as before cooked inside "Jo Callaro" and put on the scifa, the wood polenta dish par excellence. Polenta is seasoned with sprouts or pork sausages.
The fallone is a pizza made with a mixture of corn and water, cooked in the old wood-burning oven of the village dating back to 1751.
