A festival in Castel di Tora is held at the end of September to celebrate one of the most popular dishes of this area: the Strigliozzi.
It is a homemade pasta made with water, durum wheat flour and salt mixed in a unique way and seasoned with tomato sauce.
For this festival, local housewives knead about 100 kilos of flour to 'give life to' 200 kilos of pasta.
It is an opportunity to come and discover one of the most beautiful areas of Sabina, a village that is reflected in the clear waters of Lake Turano along the 'Truffle and Chestnut Road'.
