Priverno. Nova Falia and Broccoli Festival

Priverno. Nova Falia and Broccoli Festival

On the last Sunday of February, the festival dedicated to two typical products of the area takes place in Priverno: 'Falia' and broccoli.

Broccoli is a vegetable universally appreciated for its goodness and southern Lazio is famous for its festivals that celebrate them, prepared in many different ways, alone or accompanied by meat or bread.

They are traditionally grown in the Amaseno Valley in Ciociaria and very popular in Rome too.

La Falia, a perfect cross between bread and pizza, which will leave you with your mouth watering and is the typical bread of Priverno.
