In February Carpineto Romano celebrates one of the most prized products of the area with an all truffled festival.
A day to savor the most varied products and dishes created using the prized black truffle in the delightful village of the Lepini mountains.
The festival takes place every year in the first ten days of February.
Truffles are exhibited and sold, and the caterers prepare truffle-based menu.
You can taste polenta with truffle and fettuccine, strictly handmade and mixed with chestnut flour and durum wheat, seasoned with truffles and porcini mushrooms.
