Vallinfreda. Festival of Sagne

The last Sunday of October in Vallinfreda is celebrated one of the typical dishes of the Roman countryside: the 'sagne' accompanied by sausages, bread and wine.

The sagne are a particular handmade pasta and are distinguished from those ciociare for the presence of the egg.

They are seasoned with a sauce made with oil, garlic, tomato and the smells of the countryside.
