San Vito Romano. Feast of San Vito

San Vito Romano. Feast of San Vito

On June 15 San Vito Romano celebrates the patron of San Vito from which the town takes its name.

Religious and civil celebrations are held on the weekend closest to June 15.

Saturday night, after the blessing, the group of flower arrangers begin working along the roads of the medieval village to prepare the traditional floral display on which the procession passes on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, an artisanal market takes place and several Masses in St. Vito church finish with the procession through the old town centre.

At the end of the procession there are the food and wine tastings, music, bingo in the square and fireworks.
