Sabaudia

Subaudia is one of the first cities of the fascist period and was born August 5, 1933 on a reclaimed swamp and inaugurated on April 15, 1934.

Sabaudia is a city-symbol of Italian Rationalism in architecture and is the result of a design competition held by the institutional manager of remediation, of the l’Opera Nazionale Combattenti.

To date, Sabaudia has kept its urban characteristics, the modern post style rationalist nature of the town and the tower are all symbols of the fascist period.
