The Horse Museum Foundation has organized an exhibition in Rocca Priora entitled "Freedom and the horse, modern interpretations of the horse in art" under the patronage of the Municipality of Rocca Priora, the Lazio Region, FISE and the University of the Foro Italico From Rome.
Two different sections have been set up in the halls of the Di Rocca Priora Cultural Center, one that covers a journey through art and artistic craftsmanship with objects that represent this noble animal in different shapes and different materials.
The second area is dedicated exclusively to children and young people to bring them closer to the world of equestrian sports and life in sports centers with a scaled representation. The operators of the library tell about the sports disciplines that can be undertaken riding a horse, and the typical day of a young rider who takes care of his steed.
The exhibition will be an important opportunity to start an artistic and cultural journey that will involve schools of all levels.
At the next Horse Fair in Rome, we will organize a Master Class involving the Liceo Artistico San Giuseppe di Grottaferrata which will take care of the lessons for young people who want to try their hand at this path.
The Horse Museum Foundation was created with the aim of bringing children closer to the culture and art of the horse world, to widen the horizon of the many young sportsmen who approach equestrian sports but also to make known the depth of the relationship between man and horse that has made our history for centuries.
Our work includes temporary exhibitions in which we exhibit some pieces of the collection according to a chosen theme and organize collateral events. We have just participated in the II Forum for cultural exchanges between Italy and China in Chengdu, Sichuan, to make international agreements.
Visits to the exhibition are organized by the Municipal Library.
