This year we were invited to the inauguration of the academic year of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. A dynamic institution attentive to the development of the territory on which it insists and with which we have started an interesting collaboration.
The ceremony was attended by about thirty rectors who came from universities throughout Italy and Gaetano Manfredi, the Minister of Research and University who was rector of the Federico II University of Naples.
Perfect ceremony, with the hymn of Mameli sung by the Choir of Cassino and a series of interesting interventions such as that on the 'transculture' of Prof. Giovanni Capelli.
We felt deeply touched: we have always been cross-cultural.
I started from the philosophy applied to machines, then I went to science with all the dynamics on the structures, then my first job was in territorial marketing and tourism with the La Selva Park.
I built houses and lived the construction site to get to bioarchitecture and renewable energies, we were few and I taught 10 years at university. I realized that to promote a sustainable way of building I had to study communication and marketing. When speculation began on large photovoltaic fields, I promoted 'art and energy' to get to know many small businesses. The crisis and a geopolitical vision of the crisis led me to deal with tourism in small villages to counter the abandonment and escape of young people.
Transcultura? I am happy like this. Someone calls me difficult to follow. But which dream is easy to follow?
Thanks to the University of Cassino, the rector, Roberta Vinciguerra with whom we communicate the initiatives together and to Prof Giovanni Capelli for giving me the meaning of life.
I've always been super modern but the others didn't know it!
