The answer can be found on the new website of www.discoverplaces.travel where we have mapped the typical dishes and wines of each town in Lazio. And now thanks to the Discoverplaces Network we are selecting the best producers, restaurateurs and storytellers!
We will launch a preview of the site on Friday 24 September during the European Researchers' Night in an event at the Castello di Gaeta dedicated to Town Ambassadors.
The Town Ambassadors, the ambassadors, are all those who have left Italy but who have maintained proactive ties with their country of origin.
Not only love but also constant commitment that many of the 80 million Italian descendants who live abroad dedicate to our country every day.
We recognized their love with the Town Ambassador Award and we want to present Discoverplaces Network to them. A way to help them find the true Italian spirit and its most authentic flavors.
The event was born thanks to our collaboration with the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, a university that has made its link with the territory its strong point.
A glocal university, local but international, constantly engaged in the creation of intercultural bridges and in the growth of the local economic fabric.
A wine and appetizer tasting will follow at the wonderful Castle of Gaeta.
