Do you know those games where you measure friction by tilting a plane and seeing at which angle the pieces fall? This is the image I've always had of Rocca Canterano, a town suspended in the sky with an inclined wall on one side and a sheer drop over the Aniene valley on the other.

What could be better than the arrival of spring to go to Riofreddo, the last town in the province of Rome just before Abruzzo region? Traveling along the Rome – L'Aquila route, I cannot see it and only a large building on a hill appears to me.

How strange is the time. They say it's measurable, but I think its length depends on emotions and not on the clock. When I was a teenager, we went skiing every week in Campo Staffi (in Filettino) and we often spent the weekends in a residence near the slopes with the CAI group of Colleferro.

The second time it went well, very well indeed. The snow had made us postpone the meeting of all the members and partners of the DMO Comino Valley (Valle di Comino) (www.dmociociariavalledicomino.it) and yesterday Federico Campoli finally managed to perform the miracle.
