On a beautiful Saturday morning we went to visit "Il Guitto" association of the town of Fumone, our dear friends there took us to meet Giorgio Tolomei, an amazing artist, that just recently moved to Fumone from Alatri.

He showed us around his studio/gallery, and amazing collection of paintings, sculptures and eclectic art. An amazing artist, who built for Fumone a Nativity set, modeled after the old town of Alatri, complete with a day to night cycle.

We'll be sure to write an article about him, but for now we cherish our visit and hope to be back soon!

On Friday the 5th of January, the discoverplaces.travel team started the new year with a bang!

All of us reunited in our home base in Paliano to discuss our plans and strategies for the new year. It was a great opportunity to introduce new team members and meet old friends who have supported us all throughout 2017.

We aim to work harder and better in 2018, we have a lot in store, stay tuned!

The Discoverplaces.travel team had the pleasure to be able to give copies of the newly released guide of Frosinone to the Mayor of the city, the prefect and other Municipalities officials and local newspapers, wha a great opportunity for the promotion of our big little towns!

Filettino - Gnoccacci

The discoverplaces.travel team is never on holiday! Soon after stuffing ourselves with food on Christmas, we decided to do it in Filettino too. With great pleasure, we drove to the charming town to start the production on a soon to be made guide, it was a fruitful trip. We took photos, met with special people and had a fantastic lunch in a local restaurant.

We will come back as soon as possible to complete our work, and eat a little more!

The 22nd of December at 6:30 PM the radio show “Viaggiare in Italia” will air a special episode dedicated to the town of Serrone, the stunning town will be narrated by Chiara Rossi. The show is hosted by Pietro Scipioni and Francesca di Giorgio.

The Discoverplaces team is pleased to participate on Sunday 17 December to the photowalk organized by the cultural association J@m and Visit_OlevanoRomano.

The guided photowalk, let you re-discover the beauty and history of the town of Olevano Romano, will take place at 10:00 am, starting from the Tourist Info point in Piazza Aldo Moro. Throughout the whole morning we will visit all the main points of interest of the town, and to top it all off, an axclusive tour of the inside of the mysterious Colonna Castle.

Each participant will be given a free GOODIE BAG, containing a map and traditional products.

The 15th of December at 6:30 PM the radio show “Viaggiare in Italia” will air a special episode dedicated to the town of Fontechiari, the stunning town will be narrated by Chiara Rossi and Giuliano Fabi. The show is hosted by Pietro Scipioni and Francesca di Giorgio.
