Apr 13: Miniature Alatri

Back in miniature Alatri, now a permanent exhibition thanks to the Musicapolis Cultural Association. The delightful initiative attracts children and adults from all over the province and the surrounding area, one of our dear collaborators had the pleasure of visiting it, he writes:
"As soon as I entered, I breathed in a welcoming air as if I was back home, every monument seemed to belong to me, each detail of the exhibition was carefully treated, and all the miniature monuments perfectly resembled the corresponding bigger version to the T.
Two monuments impressed me more than the others: the first is the Conti Gentili building with an adjacent square where I was struck by the sundial which was portrayed identical to the original; the second is the old station of Alatri where even the old trains that were used are depicted.
The station struck me so much because I could never see the old station in its glory days. This exhibition will be permanent, it conveys to the visitor a unique set of emotions and I invite everyone and anyone to go and visit it. "

Apr 12: Australian Embassy for the Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games Club organized an evening together with the Australian Embassy to get to know the athletes and the history of this competition. This year the games are played in the Gold Coast in Australia and involve over 60 countries. The absolute protagonist of the evening was Fiona May, the British jumper of Jamaican origins who for love chose to live in Italy. Sport unites peoples and Australia has established its European training base for its athletes in Italy, near the shores of Lake Iseo. One more reason to present our guides that can help sportsmen all over the world to discover the special experiences to do in our villages.

Apr 7: Segni Photowalk

On Saturday April 7th, we embarked on a tour of the town of Segni, in province of Rome. With the help of Marco Tedeschi, who guided us through the town for the whole day, we discovered and took pictures of all the interesting sights and wonders of the little village. It all ended in style: a dinner at our dear friend and Chef Marco Graziosi's restaurant, who gave us a taste of the famous and delicious "Lepini" cuisine.
