A visit to the cultivations of Grano Senatore Cappelli and Grano Saraceno with the members of the Terre Sane Cooperative, who for years have started to cultivate the grains of the past.

They search of abandoned areas in countryside and their dream is to recreate the landscape of once with cultivated land, green in spring and yellow in summer with the color of ripe wheat.

An idea their dream is turning into reality. Grains have become excellent pasta with the Terre Sane brand. But listen to their stories of how they chose the miller suitable for the milling of their wheat and how they chose the pasta factory.

This was a journey to discover Rieti and Sabina, an enchanted territory where green valleys still meet without modern buildings among which are towering castles like that of Roccasinibalda. The availability of the airports, of the port of Rome in Civitavecchia and of the visit facilities give us a picture of absolute primacy.

The only drawback? The lack of facilities in the capital and the desire to attract a more refined and cultured public can also benefit the 'minor' monuments and towns of the province.

A real surprise is that of finding archeologists and sommeliers who share the discovery of the ancient peperino quarries of Marino while sipping a glass of Marino DOC and sampling bread with local organic oil.

Old Marino is connected by a network of tunnels that are practically located under each house. From these tunnels the rock was mined with which the overlying houses were built.
