Discoverplaces.travel air on Radio Radio Tv, in the "Amico Comune" program in collaboration with Anci Lazio to tell the towns of Lazio and their beauties. We will talk about art, culture, history and food and wine together with the administrations and citizens, pioneers who love their country and sow seeds every day to actively promote it.

This first episode will start with telling the municipality of Sabaudia together with Mayor Giada Gervasi. The program is presented by Francesco Vergovich and will be broadcast every Thursday.

On Wednesday December 19th  at 6.00 pm in the Cantina Sociale of Piglio, 15 producers from Cesanese set up tasting tables to introduce their wine, the Cesanese territory and the Cesanese Lifestyle program.

As part of the event the Cantina Sociale of Piglio has organised, on the occasion of Christmas festivities, a space set up in the exhibition hall, where a collective exhibition of local artists is taking place, and the point of sale has been redesigned for the occasion.

The point of sale of the Cantina Sociale now shows all the wines of the territory and some excellent products selected by the Slow Food area of Cesanese.

Next to each product there is a poster with the history of the manufacturer and  the characteristics. The ultimate goal is to make the Cantina Sociale of Piglio increasingly an information point where the many tourists who already visit can find news about the whole territory and be excited by our excellent products and lifestyle.

An info-point provides information on producers, territories and excellent products. The Cantina Sociale is increasingly recognized as the engine of the Cesanese Lifestyle and the absolute leader of the 'Sharing Economy'.

This unique event has brought together all the producers of the Cesanese area, collecting for the first time both the producers of the Roman area and the Ciociaria area. There are producers from Piglio, Paliano, Anagni, Acuto, Serrone, Affile, Olevano Romano and Genazzano for an event that relates the enjoyment of producing wine in the Cesanese grape area.

In these years of hard work, the Cesanese wines have reached excellent levels and a quality that is recognized by the numerous awards won in the most important events.

Now the challenge is to combine the quality of wine with the beauty of the area and enhance the food and wine tourism that can become the engine of a local economy based on quality tourism.

To start this process of transformation it is more and more necessary for the people of the territory to know the history, the particularities and the products of their land and be proud of the results achieved in these years by those who worked in silence.

The public interest in the events of the Cesanese Lifestyle program organized by the Cantina Sociale show that they are on track.

The next events are therefore:

- December 19th dedicated to all Cesanese producers
- January 3 tasting of Slow Food from the Cesanese Territories
- January 6th closing concert with accordionist Daniele Ingiosi

We have ‘arrived’ on Instagram and thanks to the strategies of our new collaborator, Francesco, we have reached 6000 followers.

With Francesco we started to analyze visitors to the site and social networks in order to better reach the reader's desires and satisfy his needs.

We hold weekly meetings to brainstorm together our ideas so we can always be innovative and create surprises for our readers.

What better gift than a guide of your town to all elementary school children?

This was the idea of ​​the municipality of Paliano that achieved it thanks to the BCC. All the children will have a guide of their town while we will go to the schools to teach them to see their town through the eyes of the tourist.

We will play role-playing games and tell of the opportunities that can arise when visitors arrive and are happy with their stay in our beautiful towns and countryside.

The collaboration of Discoverplaces with the research centre of the University of Tor Vergata powers on and we continue to share typically Italian experiences with its foreign visiting professors and researchers visiting the university’s laboratories in Italy.

Today we introduced Professor Dai Songyuan to the joys of Panettone and Cesanese wine.

Prof Dai is Dean of the Renewable Energy School at the North China Electric Power University of Beijing. We enjoyed a tasting with three great pastry chefs of Ciociaria that was held in the Cantina Sociale of Piglio as part of the Cesanese Lifestyle event.

The professor has photographed everything and filmed the scenes. Prof Aldo Di Carlo from CHOSE bought two Panettone with Cesanese taste of the Lazio Bar, one for himself and the other to share at his next faculty meeting.

After the success of this event we have planned other initiatives with CHOSE.

On Wednesday evening, tastings will begin at the Cantina Sociale of Piglio in collaboration with the Slow Food Territory of Cesanese. You will start with the panettone whose story will be related by three protagonists of pastry, three masters of our territory who have distinguished themselves for their taste, value and their creativity.

Gabriele Lolli of Bel Sito Hotel in Serrone, Franco Terenzi of Bar Lazio of Serrone with his Panettone at the Cesanese , and Matteo Dolcemascolo of the family of pastry chefs of Frosinone.

We have truly exceptional guests, Prof. Dai, Dean of the Renewable Energy School of the Chinese university in Beijing and Prof. Carlo Aldo, director of the CHOSE Laboratory in Tor Vergata. With this laboratory we have long been in agreement to introduce the excellence of our territories to foreign guests.

And who knows what agreements will be held between a slice of panettone and a good glass of Cesanese born from the love of local producers.

With the notes of 'Mazurka di Montefortino' still in our minds we went to the Museum of Rugby of Artena to propose a concert dedicated to Federico Talone and his very special harmonies.

The meeting with Corrado Mattoccia is always full of surprises and we have made an agreement to promote our newsletter among museum visitors, who are over a thousand every month.

Visitors come from all over the world to rediscover the spirit of the world rugby champions through the jerseys and trophies of the museum, but also to live the spirit of the Third Half that every Friday you can absorb in the dinners for fundraising of the museum.

The Thursday newsletter of Discoverplaces on the events and festivals of Lazio will be presented in the museum  with the 6 Nations Rugby, just about the greatest sporting event of Rugby across the world.
